minor ticks...

Postby arthurwaite1966 » Mon Jul 07, 2008 7:47 pm

Hi Horst,

I have a question regarding how the minor ticks are calculated and then drawn on the axis. Currently, I have the following data range of 0.00 to 0.43 on one of my x-axis. If I set the StopEnd to axFixed and also set "Dont Round Ends", I have an axis which displace my data range correctly. However, if I now reset the data range from 0.00 to 0.67, and making use of the same axis setting, the axis automatically rounds up to 0.68. As another example, setting the axis from 0.00 to 0.93, results in the axis rounding up to 0.94. It seems any data below 0.60 will display correctly on the axis, but if the data range is above the 0.60, then the data gets rounded up to the next even number. I need to be able to display the data along the axis in an "un-rounded" mode, meaning that if my data range is between 0 to 0.87, then the end of the axis should be 0.87 and not 0.88. How can I correct this??

also, I need to upgrade to version 3.0 pro, but when I go to the online ordering, there is only selections for new purchases and no selection for the upgrade. How do I upgrade??

best regards,
Arthur

Hi Arthur,
Could you give me some code snippets? How do you set the EndRounding, in Code in the IDE? How do you set the data range, automatically or per your program code?
You can also send me an example project by e-mail.

I have sent you upgrade instructions to version 3.0 via e-mail.

Regards Horst
